Questions people actually ask
Odoo is open source. Isn't that cheaper?
The Community edition licence is free; the implementation is not. For most Indian SMEs the real cost sits in partner days, hosting, and per-version migration projects. Compare the three-year total, not the licence line.
We need a custom process Odoo could build. Can Relaso do it?
Sometimes — through custom fields, document templates, approval rules, and our REST API. But if the requirement needs new data models or new screens, Odoo will genuinely bend further. That is the honest trade for not needing a developer to run day one.
What about upgrades?
We upgrade the platform for everyone continuously and at no extra charge. Odoo major-version upgrades are typically a scoped project, particularly with custom modules installed.
Can we self-host Relaso?
Relaso is a managed SaaS. Enterprise customers with regulatory data-residency requirements should talk to us about region pinning; we do not ship an on-premise build.
