Can I keep using Tally for my books and Relaso for billing?
Yes, and plenty of customers start that way. Relaso exports sales and purchase registers in a CA-friendly format, so your accountant can keep filing from Tally while your team bills from the cloud. Most consolidate onto Relaso once they see the ledger is already there.
Will my CA be able to work with Relaso data?
Yes. You can export GSTR-ready sales and purchase registers, trial balance, and ledger statements to Excel, and give your CA a read-only login scoped to just the reports they need.
Is Relaso as GST-compliant as Tally?
For invoicing and filing preparation, yes — item-wise CGST/SGST/IGST, HSN/SAC, reverse charge, e-invoicing IRN generation, and e-way bills are all native. Tally has more depth in specialised statutory areas like payroll TDS.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
You can export everything — invoices, contacts, items, ledgers — to CSV at any time, including during the notice period. There is no lock-in clause and no export fee.
Does Relaso work when the internet drops?
The POS interface keeps taking sales offline and syncs when the connection returns. The full accounting workspace needs connectivity, which is the honest trade for having no server to maintain.
